TEMPO'S INTENSIVES 2024

Join Tempo, EP's Contemporary Adult and Competition team, as they host their Fall and Winter Intensive 2024. The Fall Intensive will take place Nov. 16, 17, 23, 24, & 30 and will include classes in Heels, Contemporary, Afro-modern, Ballet, Jazz, Choreography and Tap. The Winter intensive will be held Dec. 1, 7, 8, & 14 with Musical Theater, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Ballet, and Jazz.

PRICES

  • Each Intensive includes 8 classes for $50

  • RSVP for both weeks and get all 16 classes for $80 

  • RSVP in the events list below or on the Home Page and click your choice of payment (Cash or Venmo @ https://venmo.com/u/Tempodance)

Our contemporary competition team will be looking forward to meeting and possibly inviting those who join both Intensives!

Meet the Instructors

Queala

Class: Afro Modern

What to Expect: Expect to get your groove on in this class that combines Afro-diasporic movement styles with contemporary influences.

Queala serves as an educator, performer, choreographer, artistic director of The Dance Narrative Project, and founder of Ventura County Dance.  Professional experiences also include Dayton Contemporary Dance Company (DCDC I & II), Don Arden’s Jubilee, Lula Washington Dance Theatre, and JazzAntiqua Dance & Music Ensemble with multinational travels to Poland, Brazil, Russia, China, and Israel.  Queala has taught for American College Dance Association, Dayton Contemporary Dance Company I & II, Ohio Dance Festival, The Rock Center for Dance, The California Dance Academy, Lula Washington Dance Theatre, and the International Association of Blacks in Dance to name a few.
